The lower ground floor makes it difficult to trap heat. The old thermostat also seems to be fluctuating a lot. I remember the first time I saw the flames inside my boiler, and I was in shock. I did not know that there would be an actual fire. I always thought of heat as quite abstract.

Warmest winter memory?

Growing up in Baroda (India), there was no real winter, and when it did get a little chilly, we used to go out to eat warm corn and hot peanuts.

Coldest winter memory?

Coldest winter was in London in 2021 because I started living alone after breaking-up with my ex, so suddenly all the bills were being paid entirely by me, and I used the heating very sparingly and this left me freezing at night.
